Overview

The coast is dotted with numerous caves and creeks that alternate with steep cliffs.  The most famous of them all is the Grotta Azzurra or Blue Grotto, whose magical light effects have been described by many writers and poets. The famous Faraglioni are another characteristic feature of Capri: three small rocky islands near the shore that create a striking scenic effect.  The main towns on the island are Capri, Marina Grande and Marina Piccola, which is on the other side of the island, and Anacapri.

Villa Marinella lies in the center of Capri, a short walk from Via Camerelle and the world famous ‘Piazzetta’. The property is located next to Tragara in a prestigious position overlooking the bay of Marina Piccola and the Faraglioni Rocks. The villa is beautifully surrounded by nature, lying high on the cliff in a private park of 7000 sq. meters of pine wood, palm trees, and fruit trees.  The property boasts a lookout point from where you enjoy a spectacular view right onto the Faraglioni’ s rocks and the bay of Marina Piccola. The property is composed by four units: the main house and three annexes. The annexes are located at few steps from the main house. 

The handmade iron gate leads to the main entrance, and the big Bougainvillea plant signaling your arrival.  The villa is composed of a Main Villa and Annex (3).

Main House

The main villa is composed of a large, vaulted ceiling living room, lined with columns, sofas, a 32” Satellite TV & DV, and a terracotta tiled floor.  Two balconies lead down 4 steps onto a furnished terrace, enjoying sofas, built-in stone benches with cushions, and a variety of garden furniture looking on to the 6x3 meter swimming pool.  The terrace offers incredible views over Marina Piccola and the park below. There is also an outdoor dining area with table and chairs.

Fully equipped kitchen with large, two-door refrigerator, 5 range stove-top, electric oven, toaster, microwave, and dishwasher.  15 steps up from the kitchen lies the laundry room with washing machine. The first single bedroom with French bed and en -suite bathroom with shower is located next to the kitchen.

An internal staircase leads to the first floor with 3 beautiful, double bedrooms, each with a queen size bed and en-suite bathroom with shower.  Two of these bedrooms also boast private access onto a large terrace with views out onto the garden and towards the sea.

Annex 1 “O” (5 guests): The annex lies next two the main villa and is composed of a smaller living room with flat screen TV, Queen size sofa bed, double bedroom Queen size bed and en-suite bathroom with a large shower box. The second bedroom has twin beds and a large private bathroom with shower.  The annex enjoys a large terrace with views out onto the park and Marina Piccola.

Annex “G” 2, (3 guests): The second annex has a Queen size bedroom, bathrooms with shower and 1 single bedroom. Annex “P” n.3 (4 guests): The third annex has n.1-bedroom, queen size sofa bed, private bathroom.
