Accommodations
From the outside, Petit Palais appears pretty much unchanged, with rough whitewashed walls, terracotta roof tiles and louvered shutters. Step inside however and you’ll discover a stunning conversion comprising nine en-suite bedrooms, elegant living spaces and a high-tech home cinema. The transformation from rustic mas to luxury home is one of the finest we’ve come across; all the character of the original rooms has been retained and given a stylish 21st-century twist to create the ultimate country retreat, close to the loveliest towns and villages of the Luberon.

Outside
The grounds are equally impressive, comprising six hectares of orchards, olive groves and lavender fields. Tucked within the grounds like a lush inner sanctuary, an enclosed garden shelters a play area and a heated private swimming pool. Private swimming pool 15 m x 4 m (depth 1.5 m throughout), security cover, Roman steps, heated to 27°C, open mid-March to mid-November. Brome filtration.
The pool deck and its adjoining terrace would make a spectacular venue for a private party or special family celebration and, with a games room, boules alley and table tennis, there’s something to keep all ages happily entertained.

30 Minutes away by car from the Dentelles de Montmirail and Mont Ventoux
There are also half a dozen picturesque villages within a 20-30 km radius, including Gordes, Ménerbes and Roussillon. Avignon, Apt and Orange are all easily accessible as day trips
2 km from Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, a charming town loved for its antique shops and pretty waterways
L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue center, and its numerous antique shops and markets are only at 10 minutes by car. But the small village of St Antoine which has a bakery and a small coffee / tobacco store is a 20 / 30 minutes walk
The remarkable site of "Fontaine de Vaucluse" is located 16 minutes away from the house
Avignon can be reached within 40 minutes (TGV station) and Marseille airport within 55 minutes (70 Km)
The Luberon most well-known villages are reachable easily by car (from 25 to 45 minutes): Gordes, Roussillon, Bonnieux, Lacoste, and Ménerbes
Côtes-du-Rhône wine villages, such as Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Gigondas, Beaumes-de-Venise, are less than 45 minutes away
